Sincere question: why is anything that students want that requires that we think of them as humans deemed “privileged” “entitled” “coddled”? I’m really really getting frustrated with the number of educators–because yes, that is what we are when we work in universities; we’re not just researchers: we are EDUCATORS–that don’t want to acknowledge the humanity of their students and that start screaming privilege at them the second they ask for consideration. Short rant, I realize. Not thorough or thoughtful or insightful.
Just a rant. A frustrated, tired, rant.
