Join me on once a month for a writing workshop held at The Church Project in Monte Vista, CO.
Playful Writing is an interactive workshop that is all about play! Writing can be a serious task, and we often forget how fun it can be!
Writers of all levels are welcome! Whether you are an experienced writer or a novice, it is easy to get stuck in our heads, stuck in the intellectual aspects of writing, and to forget about the joy of wordplay and the fun of experimenting. This workshop is set up to get you out of your head and into the fun. This workshop will be best for writers aged 12 and up.
The workshop will be 2 hours each month; each session will offer something new and playful to try. You don’t need to have attended any previous sessions to benefit from the session of the month! Each session will be a low-pressure period for completing guided writing activities with opportunities (but no requirement) to share ideas and writing with each other. This is not a workshop where you will receive critique. It is a workshop where you will receive encouragement and support.
