A day-long writing retreat with me, Jean Alger.
A day filled with guided activities and independent writing sessions designed to minimize distraction, increase creative flow, and help you write it out.
Writers will have their own writing nook for privacy and focus during independent sessions.
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages included.
Limited to 10 writers.
This day is for you if you need dedicated space and time to write. This is for you if you have a work-in-progress, or if you have nothing but a bunch of blank notebooks and a desire to fill them. The day will begin with breakfast, group intention setting, and with a group activity to get you into the creative mode. We’ll break to write on our own for 90 minutes, then come back together for lunch and another group activity. Then, you’ll have 2 1/2 hours of focused time, and the day will end with discussion and a closing activity that will help you think about what’s next.
For writers who don’t have a project in the works, you’ll find a booklet with writing prompts and other inspiration to get the ink flowing (or the keyboard tapping) at your writing nook.
Offered on a sliding scale of $60-$85, this is an accessible opportunity for a writing retreat that doesn’t require travel or extended time away from home.
